Durable Protorque starters are offered in four versions: standard Protorque offers 1.9 HP, a 4:1 reduction, and weighs 10 lbs.; Protorque Maximum uses a 3.0 HP motor, 4.4:1 reduction ratio, and weighs 11 lbs.; Protorque Ultra combines a 3.4 HP motor, 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio, and weighs 10.5 lbs.; while the top-of-the-line Protorque Extreme offers a 3.5 HP motor, 4.4:1 gear reduction ratio, and weighs 11 lbs. Many starters are adjustable to provide maximum oil pan and header clearance.
