New and improved "SHP" (Special High Performance) block is manufactured in a state-of-the-art foundry utilizing new tooling. Cast iron blocks combine affordability, durability, and precision machining. Blocks include 5/8" thick decks, .230" minimum wall thickness cylinder walls, stock 302 (8.200") or 351W (9.500") deck heights, priority main oiling, steel main caps, and full compatibility with OEM components. Offered in 4.000" or 4.125" cylinder bores.
