Break-In Procedure

Driven Break-In Oil is formulated with 2800–3000 ppm ZDDP (zinc dialkyldithiophosphate) and low detergent content. This composition allows ZDDP to form a protective anti-wear film on critical surfaces without interference from detergents, which can reduce its effectiveness during initial wear-in.

Recommended Use:

1. Fill the engine with Driven Break-In Oil and run for approximately 30 minutes.

2. Drain the oil, replace the filter, and refill with fresh Break-In Oil to remove assembly lubricants and wear particles.

3. Operate the engine for up to 400 miles or equivalent dyno time.

4. Replace oil and filter again, refilling with your preferred Driven Racing Oil formulation for ongoing use.
