Melling improved the standard volume Ford Modular SOHC & DOHC V8 oil pump. Updates to the housing, cover, and components work together to improve the performance and durability of the oil pump. Updating the cover material to phosphate coated cast iron improves performance by increasing the pressure tightness of the pump. It can be used in any Ford application that uses Melling?s stock replacement M340 or M360 oil pumps.
