Well suited to engines with magnetos or distributors with locked-out ignition advance, starters combine 3.0 horsepower electric motors with 3.75:1 gear reduction ratio to provide up to 200 ft./lbs. of cranking power, sufficient to fire engines with up to 15:1 compression. Starters include a billet adjustable mounting block and weigh just 10.5 lbs.
