Stranges Ford 8.8 housing ends are black oxide coated and provide an optimal mounting surface for the brake calipers to remain in proper alignment with the axle bearing. These weld-on housing ends have a 3.150 bearing and are sold as a pair. They are designed to be butt welded to the tubes with the proper equipment. An alignment bar is required to properly install any housing ends.
