The nylon braided cover provides excellent abrasion resistance. A flexible stainless steel inner core reinforces the synthetic rubber inner liner for improved strength.
Up to 40% lighter than Stainless Steel Braided Flex Hoses.
Suitable for oil, water, fuel, coolant and vacuum service. Suitable for E85 and methanol use, but fumes will permeate through this type of hose when fuel is left stagnant for long periods of time.
NOT suitable for use as brake lines or other hydraulic pressure lines, nor are they suitable for extended submersion in fuel or oil (not for in-tank applications).
Operating temperature range: -40°F to 300°F (-40°C to 150°C).
